MY RUBY RED ROSE
My rose is a red rose
A rose you can see, 'Tis the rose of the garland
They call Tennessee.
Her eyes are like diamonds The diamonds that shine,
And her lips are like corals And the pearls they entwine.
The damasks of the morning Ere the sun hath arose,
Are seen in the bosoms Of my ruby red rose.
My rose is a red rose
A rose you can see, 'Tis the rose of the garland
They call Tennessee. |
